I had a great time getting to know the fine folks in the independent florist community who attended the Florists for Change conference in Las Vegas this week.  Small businesses everywhere are being challenged to remain viable and vibrant through the encroaching of large corporate chains, but it’s all the more evident in the florist community.  Learn more about their challenges at Florists for Change  (http://www.floristsforchange.com/).  Remember that the next time you buy flowers, do it through a local, independent florist!
