For the past several years, American Express has sponsored an event called “Small Business Saturday.” This is a day to encourage shoppers to focus on smaller, local businesses, rather than the big, corporate shopping mall they stumbled through in a post-turkey, tryptophan haze the day after Thanksgiving; a day lovingly known by retailers as “Black Friday.”

To assist small businesses, American Express has made it easier to stand out and will list your business in their directory as long as you sign up prior to November 4th, 2013.  It’s a free marketing opportunity for existing American Express customers.  If you don’t accept American Express currently, but would like to, we can help facilitate that process as well.
