While we should consider giving year-round rather than focusing on giving just around the holidays or on any one particular day, Colorado Gives Day reminds us to “give where you live” and ensures that non-profits in our home town are given the attention they deserve.  Your donation through GivingFirst.org can make a real difference to the organizations that work tirelessly to support the causes you believe in.  Consider giving to any or all of the AdvoCharge non-profit organizations, including: Intercambio in Boulder, Whittier International School in Boulder, Dharma Ocean in Boulder, the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, and our newest non-profit, The Tiny Tim Center in Longmont.

And you can give purely for selfish reasons!  Researchers have shown that giving even small amounts to a cause that people believe in alleviates stress and and makes us feel better!
