Combined-volume pricing

Pooled card volume unlocks pricing that individual locations or members could not negotiate alone.

Profit-sharing for the parent

Common questions

Franchise and association payment processing FAQs

Short answers to the questions franchisors and association leaders ask most often when they evaluate a network program.

How does multi-location payment processing work for a franchise?

One master agreement covers the network. Each location gets its own merchant account, but pricing is negotiated on the combined card volume of every location - rates no single store could reach alone - with centralized reporting so the franchisor sees the whole network in one place.

Can an association offer merchant services as a member benefit?

Yes - the endorsed-provider model. Members get group-negotiated processing rates they could not get individually, the association strengthens its member value proposition, and the parent organization can participate in a revenue-share arrangement. AdvoCharge structures these programs with transparent interchange-plus pricing so the benefit is real, not cosmetic.

Do all locations or members have to use the same processor?

No. AdvoCharge is processor-agnostic - we select processors based on each operation's profile, and a network program does not require forcing every location onto identical hardware or a single platform. Participation in an association program is per-member and voluntary.

How are new locations or members onboarded?

Under the master program, boarding a new location is a streamlined application rather than a from-scratch negotiation - the pricing schedule and program terms already exist. Most new locations are live within days.

What does the parent organization actually get?

Three things: consistent, transparent pricing across the network; consolidated reporting for oversight; and optionally a revenue-share that turns payment processing from a cost every location grumbles about into a contribution to the parent organization. We put the structure in writing before anyone signs.
